Error message missing essential information.

I've tried repeatedly to manufacture a stick, and can't, and the error message that Cantr gives is missing two essential pieces of information. When I select Stick from the Build menu, I'm taken back to the Character screen, but it doesn't show the project as being underway. I then go to the Activities screen. The activity "Manufacturing a stick" is there, and it shows me as the initiator, but I'm not a participant. When I click the "p" button to participate, I get this message:

ERROR: You need to use grams of #MATERIAL# first.

This message is missing both the name of the material that I have to use, and the number of grams of it that I have to use. So I have no idea what I'm supposed to do now. :( Can anyone help me?

We are aware of the error message problem.

Click the (I) next to the project instead of the (P) that should tell you how much more wood you need to add to the project.

To add wood pull up your inventory and hit the (+) button on the material needed.

Characters have to add there materials manually to projects before starting them.

Thank you very much, Meh. I never would have figured that out on my own.
