Operations for Multiple Notes problem

Postby Mitch79 » Wed Feb 08, 2012 9:39 pm

I was looking through some notes trying to clear out a huge amount of them today, and noticed this problem. A staff member asked me to go ahead and report it. While using Firefox, once you go into your notes list and you click on the operations for multiple notes button, the notes are listed in a list correctly.

Example:
Note -Treefeather Visual Map - 1076 edition-
Note -Theodora Angelos`s Map - 2202-

However, when I first noticed this I was not at home and my computer at the office defaults to Internet Explorer. On Internet Explorer when I click on the operations for multiple notes, I get a screwy list. Each word on one line.

Example:

(checkbox)
Note
-
Treefeather
Visual
Map
-
1076
edition
-

(checkbox)
Note
-
Theodora
Angelos`s
Map
-
2202

As you can imagine, if you have 400 notes (like this character had) It makes the page go on and on and on, and makes it hard to see what notes I've already got duplicates to. I will just use Firefox at home when I'm working with sorting notes, but I thought Programming should be aware of this problem for Internet Explorer users.

After some investigation it has been found that this only happens in really old versions of IE. If you have this problem, please update your browser if at all possible.
