Olipifirovash Forest. I would like it to be check as I haven't seen any English chars spawn there for perhaps a year. And yes a real year not a cantr year.

It's impossible to turn off spawning for individual towns when people-centric spawning is used. There used to be a bug that caused foreigners to prevent English characters from spawning (only members of the language group with the highest id present could spawn and English with id 1 was always drawing the shortest straw) but it has since been fixed. Olip Forest last had an English spawn in 2925 but he was a sleeper. That's a bit over four months ago in real time.

I find that very strange. As still one new spawn four months ago is really low. And I'm sure they hardly got any new spawns before that. I find it hard to believe thats just bad luck when other towns around them get new spawns.

Well, according to the db you have 6 English people and 3 other language people there last time it checked. That's pretty low.

lol Yes it's low now because they don't get new spawns. It didn't used to be low but no new spawns.

Well, the bug was only fixed a few weeks ago so there's no surprise really.

Hmmm yes if the bug was also causing no English new spawns in that forest, it's not a surprise. And seeing as there are less and less players and chars, it's not quickly to get a new spawn there. I guess all I can do is wait.

Previously only the three Spanish chars there counted for spawning Spanish characters alone. They still do, but now the six English chars count for spawning English chars as well.

So previously the spawn chance for that location was 3 in 330 (1 in 110) to spawn a Spanish character.
Now it also has a chance of 6 in 1730 (1 in 288,33) chance to spawn any new English character.

Note: Numbers are current and change as players and characters come and go. 330 and 1730 are the number of characters in towns (or buildings in towns) with more than one character of the respective language groups.

The bug was in effect for every town with characters of more than one language group.

Ahh yes that also explains the other town I mentioned in a thread some months ago not getting English new spawns.
