User doesn't exist?

What does it mean when I click a well-known user, and it tells me that "The requested user does not exist" ????
Is this a glitch? A banned user? A user who unsubscribed from the forums? A user who's banned me from contacting them?

Most likely the person deleted their forum account (or their account was deleted for them
).

Well, unless people with gender neutral names start putting gender symbols in their avatars, I have no way of knowing.

I saw 11 replies to this thread and thought, 'Wow this is a deeper issue than I thought! Some serious stuff is going on here!'
