I seem to be stuck

I am new (obviously :))

My character took a road north from his starting location, but within just a couple of seconds I changed my mind and decided to go back, so I clicked the 'turn around" button, thinking that would take me back to where I started.

I have now been stuck with the message "Travelling from unnamed location to unnamed location (100%)" for a loooong time.

There are no people, no objects, no animals. Looking around the location shows me nothing either.

Am I stuck? Or am I still actually traveling somewhere?

Travelling only occurs once every three hours (1 ingame hour) so you have to be patient. :)

Edit: And, while you're on the road you can pretty much do or see nothing. Except if there is another traveller or vehicle nearby, then you can interact with them.

You must wait until end of turn to finish back your travel. Every turn have 3 real life hours, so it depends when it started.

You're not stuck, you're just experiencing the tick-based system. Things like traveling, sailing and projects advance once every three hours real time. You'll get back to where you left from when the next traveling tick happens.

Edit: When you're in a location, you can enter and exit buildings, rooms and vehicles in one click, picking things up also happens instantly, as does talking, adding resources to projects, eating healing foods, putting things in containers and so on. And talking. But traveling is generally boring if you're not traveling with friends, and even then it might be difficult to find topics to discuss. If you manage to get a vehicle then you can work on projects while traveling (yes, Cantrians can drive without their hands).
