Is this correct?

Base capacity 540000 grams
The math says its impossible.
12 [people] * 60000 [grams each person] = 720000 [grams]
540000 [gram] / 60000 [grams each person] = 9 [people]

There was a change in the wiki some time ago from 8 to 12 passengers, shown
here. My guess is that it was changed because someone either built a limousine and noticed the actual passenger limit or it was changed in the game. That would lead me to believe that the weight limit wasn't able to be tested and verified (or forgotten). It's probably that number that's wrong, especially since the passenger limit was updated by a member of the staff.

The values in the wiki are indeed the ones that are also in the database. For all practical purposes the actual passenger limit is 8 though, due to the weight limit. I have no idea why the limousine has been designed this way, but I assume it has something to do with the intended implementation of dwarves and gnomes; a project which has been cancelled later due to popular demand.
