I think the compass may be off a little ... I entered 313 deg. while sailing but the ships motion line seems to be going something more like 316 deg.
Is this fixable or do I simply compensate for the difference?

I have no problem compensating if fixing it is a waste of time but the awareness is good too. A couple degrees when sailing could fatally send you many turns off course.

Did you consider that the motion line can't display your direction 100% correctly since you can only do so much with a few pixels? I'm pretty sure you're heading in the right direction.

Ya I considered that too but wasn't 100% sure myself.
