Broken sextant

One of my char's sextant's won't load. Eventually it gives this error:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/http/www.cantr.net/www/database.inc.php on line 177
It's the same whether I try using it from the ground or from the inventory.
