question about rafts

So I notice that its now possible to dock a raft to another raft, only since the carrying capacity is still just one person (which doesn't make sense to me anyway if I remember anything from Huckleberry Finn...

), I don't really see what the point is. If a raft is out on the water then there's another person on it, and whether they're dead or alive you still can't fit on board to rob/salvage/recover the raft/drag the person onto your own/do anything useful at all.
Unless I'm missing something here? It's been awhile so maybe.

Imagine a raft floating there for hundreds of days + the fact bodies can rot.

Indeed. Bodies rot, with time they lose weight. And if you wait long enough, bodies disaper completly. It takes many years. Sometimes it is good thing, like when blocked by bodies places are reachable again. Sometimes it is bad, when in tomb of great queen where her body was taken suddently body disapear with all clothes and jawlery. People lose important and visible part of history. Sad.
Btw. Imagine pirate who just kill someone very important. Whole country is after him, fleet of sailed ships, hundrets of royal guards with best weapons and everything possible on disposal, they have holy duty to kill this pirate... They found him, want to execute him, and he jump to raft and undock in the middle of guards fleet. And what? He is untouchable no matters what, can spend years, even decads if he had food, can slowly go away or dock to city in reach... guard have no real options. But not anymore, now guards can abordage his raft using own rafts if they are prepared. Tadah! There are no undockable ships in cantr at all and it is good thing.

I built a darter for the sole reason that nothing docks to it.... I'm fine and dandy that now a raft docks to it. I thought it was silly that a boat could be built that was impervious to docking.

Ah, I'd forgotten that bodies rotted, thanks guys.
And I agree that it's a good thing that everything can be docked to now, especially darters which were a tad bit exploity (I built one for the same reason

) . I'd just noticed how rafts suddenly got actually useful in the wiki and was considering the possibilities. (Though I'd always thought that you should be able to dock to
anything with anything, since it's just pulling one boat up next to another and presumably tieing them together with imaginary rope...)

A raft cannot dock to another raft.
We tried it for a while, but we couldn't get around the problem of people trying to dock to themselves.

Really? Aww and I had plans.
Somebody needs to fix the wiki entry if that's true.

Done but you could "fixed" it too. You just need an account on the cantr wiki to make changes.
