Can't get notes out of an envelope. [solved / FF messes up]

Postby ceselb » Thu Jan 15, 2009 1:52 am

I made a new envelope just a couple of hours ago, to help me sort out a bunch of notes.
Now I can't get any notes out. When I click the 'empty envelope' button, I get kicked back to the events screen for that char. When I click inventory to try again I get an error message. "ERROR: You cannot empty an envelop you do not have in your inventory.="

This character also has trouble picking up and dropping things there, gets picked back to the character screen each time.

I think these events are related. Possibly also related to the zombie bug that didn't highlight chars. Is it possible that some data is missing from locations that is causing this?

Are you using Firefox? It sounds like the same thing I reported ages ago... It fixed itself after some Firefox update on this computer but the problem still exists on my mom's computer. I recommend using some other browser while the problem exists and check if the situation has changed after each browser update. The fault is not in Cantr but in some of the new versions of Firefox.

Ok, tried in exploder and it worked. Problem solved. But it's still weird.
