Reporting Bugs, errors and missing resources

It's been a while, but I had a glitch surface with one of my characters and some resources disappeared mysteriously.

I cannot recall how you'd like to have such reported.
Here?
in email to: bugs@cantr.net
via flyspray? (what's the URL?)

Some other manner?
All of the above simultaneously?

It'd be nice if there were a sticky that made this clear.
Of course, maybe I'm just overlooking it.

You must've been living under a rock. Flyspray hasn't been used for ages and they had to take down bugs@cantr.net because it was attracting too much spam. Nowadays it's support ät cantr dot net except that that might be down too, so pm'ing someone active in the appropriate department tends to be the best way.

I remembered that a lot of methods I used to use were broken/discontinued.

It might be nice if this was all made clear somewhere obvious for my fellow denizens of "under-a-rock land."

No the PM's aren't working either it seems. I've tried to PM several people and I always get a debug error.

Ok scratch that. It still sends, but it gives you an error message saying that it didn't.

If you look at it closely, it says it failed to send email, not the pm. Not all people have email notification activated but it still tries to load emailer.php in the middle and redirect fails. The message itself has been sent and it can be seen in the outbox until it has been opened, upon which it's moved to sentbox.

If you are getting the error about email notification from the forum, it also means that email sent to Support cannot be delivered. PM's are the best way to contact staff in that case.

New players who need an account number, or anyone needing help from PD, can also find me in the irc chans. We are unable, again as of yesterday when the mail went down, to send the automatic notifcations so processing of all new accounts must be manual.

It seems like email has been massively down for a long time.
Is there an eta on a fix?

I miss my daily news summaries.

It was fixed recently, and has only just broken again. The group emails, for departments, have not worked for a long time. But things like turn reports which are sent to individuals are usually ok. Except for today....
