Change in location URLs

I'm reporting this in case it's not supposed to be:

It used to be that one could get the ID for a location by clicking the dynamic link and looking at the URL. This was good for naming locations generically, and also for reporting locations to various departments when you have a problem.

No longer.

Today, I noticed that clicking on a dynamic name of a location brings up a URL ending in gibberish. Was this an intentional change?

PS, I also noticed that this has changed for all dynamic links, including character ID numbers.

It can be used to eliminate possible abuse. Judging from the amount of possible error messages, Cantr must be pretty well prepared against people accessing stuff they shouldn't through url manipulation, but you could still get an unfair advantage in situations where speed matters by copypasting links to the address bar instead of using the regular interface. Scrambling the data ensures that everyone has to go through the same interface.

Imagine a person in a locked building sniping at people outside, they already have the element of surprise to their side but if they could record and use the ids of people outside, they could run out, paste in an url to hit someone and dart back in within seconds, doubtfully giving any legitimate player a chance to hit them.

So I take it this means that we just have to name our location by town/city name correct? Or is there a more efficient way?
