That is what happens (all automatic with no interference from me beyond telling it to connect) when I try to use our IRC, is it down?

EDIT: removed my IP address

Same thing I happening with me.

While we are on the subject of IRC....

I noticed that whenever Cantr is down, the 'Cantr is down for maintenance' page displays incorrect/old information on the IRC server and room. And I think there are other pages that display the old info for chat.

EDIT:
Appears that my IP is banned? Which is strange considering I haven't been on IRC for a looooong time.

I use Chatzilla:

[INFO] Connecting to irc://irc.tobug.net/ (irc://irc.tobug.net/)… [Cancel]

EDIT 2:
When I went on the site and requested to remove ban:

xxx.xxx.xxx.xx is listed as an open proxy.
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx was found in our database and has been queued for testing.
If the problem has been solved, and the tester shows that this host is no longer open, it will be removed.

I checked my IP and hostname against that site, thanks for showing that, Tork. Alas, good and bad news, good news, my host ain't on it, bad news, I have no idea what exactly the problem is anymore. >.>

Spazzman, if you're here, does it mean you're playing Cantr again?

And that, my dear lady, is an assumption. :P

Note that it's the IRC I'm trying to get into, to pump my daily (or in this case, nightly) insanity into.

I can connect just fine using the java client linked to on the Cantr front page.

Margin, that's what I've been using, getting disconnected automatically. I finally got it to work though, I removed my router from my system and cold reset (unplugged, then plugged back in after 20 seconds) my cable modem, resulting in a slightly different IP address, and everything works fine like a few days ago.
