I have two characters who are in the same location. Let's call them Joe and Greg. Here's the story.
Joe is in a sticky situation. He's scared of some people and wants to get as far away from them as possible. That means getting off of this island and to somewhere where they have a low probability of running into him.
Greg is in this location by accident, having gotten lost on a trading mission with some other people. He's the owner of a boat that travels all around looking for opportunities to get rich and picking up people who are bored or who need rides to places.
While the two characters are acting according to their own agendas, they both happen to be owned by me. So, this creates a dilemma: should Joe ignore this opportunity to run away (which is not in accordance with his character and is slightly illogical) to preserve the integrity of the game, or would it be kosher for Joe to hop on Greg's ship and sail away even though that's cooperation between two characters of the same player?
Ugh.
