Saber disappeared

Postby ichi » Thu Jul 17, 2008 8:38 am

Character Delfeno received a saber at 2323-5.08 (from Andrias). It showed up in Delfeno's inventory. At approximately 2324-0.17, Delfeno tried to repair the saber, which was listed in his inventory (it required 12 hours of repair). Then, instead of going to the repair menu, this message appeared "You are not allowed to view the events of other players".

The saber was gone. It was not in inventory, it was not on the ground, it was not in the project menu. Delfeno is alone, in a locked ship. The saber has simply disappeared.

You get that message when you use the "back" button on your browser, instead of the one on the Cantr page. Check again that the sabre isn't in your inventory or that the repair project isn't there. If you still can't find it, ask again and it's up to prog dept to sort it out.

I get that message all the time and I don't use the back button.

I also get it all the time and it's not because the back button. I got it once when the page auto-refreshed on the timer. I was just sitting there watching the screen and didn't click anything. I get the message now at least once in a prolonged session. My personal record is four times in one session not due to back button use.

Also, every time I try to reply to this, I get:

I repeat: the saber is not on the ground, the saber does not appear in inventory, the saber is not in a repair project. The saber disappeared.

I posted a message about this two days ago. Since then I have checked the inventory many times. I have looked on the ground many times. I have checked projects many times. No saber.

BTW: the first time I tried to post this message, I got this error:

And, I might add, it didn't magically reappear in the inventory of the previous owner.

Yes, as long as marol is missing there won't be any fixing of this.

we are now in the 10th day without Marol and chaos has broken out all over cantr. Bodies overflowing, items disappearing, and now even people apparently (marol).
