I need to give a shield and a hammer to someone, but I can't. Its in my invintory. Whats the problem?

It's possible they could be holding too much.
Also, double check to see if they're still in the same location as you.
If they went into a building or something, at some point in time, then you won't be able to hand the items to them until you've found them.


Also, you can't give items to people on the road. It has to be in town.

I'm on a road, thats why....

Something needs to be added here cos you only can't give items to other chars while both of them are walking on a road. Only one char needs to be in a vehicle to make it possible.

Really? I thought characters walking can neither give nor drop anything to anyone. The buttons ">" and "v" do not appear in the inventory's list, even if there is someone in a vehicule close.

You can't give stuff to someone in a vehicle if you're walking, but the person in a vehicle can give stuff to anyone they see.

Yeeah, if you are in a vehicle you can hand stuff to walkers and other vehicles.
