I've been chasing a thief and caught up with him on the road. He refuses to retunr the stolen items. Can I get the items if i kill him on the road?

Yes, they will fall at one of the road ends. I don't know which though, as the way I thought it works, doens't

No, that wouldn't work. I'm certain they fall at one of the locations at the end of the road.

I'm pretty sure the items fall at the nearest location.

So was I, but apparently that is not the case

I once chaised a guy who stole our stuff, and almost at the end of the road I had to kill him , but the stuff got back to the city he left from.

So I guess the city the thief leaves from is the place the stuff will go back to when u kill him. Same goes for the body of this dead guy.
