Irc client can't connect

Postby SekoETC » Wed Jul 25, 2007 3:50 pm

When trying to use the Java client, it gives this error message:
Unable to connect : java.net.SocketException : Software caused connection abort: connect

I've been having this all day today and yesterday, on two different computers and tried both Firefox and IE, so I assume it's not on my end. Anyone else getting the same error?

I can't use any programs that require installation until I get home so it would be nice if the client stopped being broken.

Try using this one instead:

Another browser based java thing, but if the other won't work, maybe it will.

I always use Hermi's link at work, it's a browser-based client which is less hated by firewalls.
