newspawn theif disapears

ok, well here's the story
newspawn comes inside, steals stuff, goes on the road,
I go out, threaten him to come back, I'm on a mountain bike so when I get back I don't see him, so he could have enterd a building or another road (a mistake I won't make again) but I've checked all of the roads and the buildings and he's not in there! is there a glytch? I know I've already asked help from people,(sorry randi.
) but I just want to make sure, 'cause dang he is nowere!

Pie, I don't know, but I don't think that the character has dissapeared. Never heared about that before.
I do think that just... shit happens

They most likely cancelled their account. Characters of new players won't leave corpses behind to save poor societies from having to bury people who just came to check out the game, decided they don't like it and quit. Look on the ground, the stuff he stole should be there.

How should I? I've never met her. And her nickname always suggested some kind of tall Mexican guy to me. And her avatar doesn't help either.

Pie, again. There was no glitch. You simply didn't look in the right places at the right time. Your newspawn didn't just disappear.

Oh! Oh! Oh! I think I know what happened. I've been in this position before, from the position of the thief.
Okay, so the thief is out on the road, and they turn around. Then they stop completely. At this point the default direction of the road takes over or something like that I think, and if the direction is in the opposite direction they were facing, then when the thief starts moving again, they will be moving in the road direction, and you wouldn't see them turning around.
Did that make sense?
