Very very much so. Don't do it.
This is not a suggestion, so I am moving it.

However, you may feel free to try and impersonate a dead person (KEY WORDS APPROACHING) that you have known the name of through in character means either before or after time of death. But Talapus is right. Bringing back your own characters is a major no-no.
Example 1: One of your characthers spawns with John Doe. You become friends with John Doe. John Doe dies. Your character tries to assume John Doe's identity for whatever reason. (Acceptable.)
Example 2: You spawn a character called Bob Smith. Bob Smith dies. You create a second character called Bob Smith with the exact same personality and goals. (NOT Acceptable.)

You were asking a question, so support would seem the right place.
As it is fundamentally against the spirit of the game, if it's a suggestion it will be immediately put in the Rejected bin.

Well if you suggest things that are blatant CRBs, no.

Buddy, I remember Seko was interested in one of your suggestions. But don't hold your breath about implementation. Do the math. Look how many suggestions there are. Each one has to be considered, and the after-shocks to the game considered, plus the difficulty of programming, whether it'll in fact make the game better, (and usually many people think it won't, no matter what.)
How would re-incarnation help the game?
That's the first thing to ask yourself. Help the game, not you personally.

Thanks, you guys, for making patient attempts to explain. It's very helpful. I really didn't have any good ways to phrase it myself, but I think you did a pretty good job to clear it up.
