RD issue: Non-existing roads.

Why isn't there a road between Flonder and Hills of Hilloi east? Actually thought my (rahter detailed) map was wrong so I went there, sure that it was just omitted. No such luck.
There are a few more cases like that, with roads that logically should be there, but this is the first one I have verified first hand.

Because no road was set up between these two places - There are plenty of close locations which have no direct road between them .
All geography in the world of Cantr has been finalised a while back and no changes will be made .
If you want an in-game reason then I suggest you think about impassable terrain or something similar, and if there was a road then no one would have any reason to visit the other locations between them.

Have you looked at a map? Seen how long it would take to get between those places as it is now? It'd take well over a year, maybe two on foot.
One solution would be to have no road as now, but a possibility to upgrade it to a path.
Another (less general) solution would be to have roads leading to a sort of dummy location at a lake, where you would atleast use boats to get to nearby locations..
I understand that there are rivers hidden in the db, those could be used for something like that too..

yes I am aware of the map - it takes under a year to walk the route carrying a full inventory, a little over twice the straight line distance, but that is immaterial - It is Game policy that geographic features (including roads) are fixed and we don't change things unless there are bugs associated with these.
I suggest you look at the free-roaming ideas and plans in
The Cantr Roadmap Thread . These ideas are still a long way off implementation however.

I have seen some oneway roads. Are the considered a bug or should they also stay as they are?

There are no oneway roads implemeted in the game , There are a few which lead back to the same location but no oneway ones.

Strange, in location Tridizheloy Yuzhquesani there is a road to location Tridizheloy Vozhquesani but in location Tridizheloy Vozhquesani there is no road to location Tridizheloy Yuzhquesani. To the other onewayroad I have seen I have not the original names of the locations, and no charakters present so I can't specify it. If not this is correct my mapmakers must have missed it in some strange way.
There is also in some places 2 parallell roads leading between the same locations. This is probably as ok as the roads leading back to the same location.

Your Mapmakers are incorrect - at least for the Tridizheloy Yuzhquesani and Tridizheloy Vozhquesani locations - and will also be mistaken for the other unnamed locations - all roads visible to characters have a valid start and end and are bidirectional.

Yes there are some places with more than one direct route - this is acceptable.
