Spawning..

See my avatar to the left? I want to spawn a character, like a Hero-type character, secretly named XIV to some, but named another name to others.

The only problem is, I had a short-lived 'hero' for a short amount of time... He didn't leave much of a legacy. His name was Adam ___(something)..

Wait I'll check it up in my dead characters list:
Ah here it is. "Adam Hatrid" 1501 to 1529..

Would it be okay to spawn another character under the XIV legacy? With of course no correlation to the old XIV? If not, what's an alternative?

You should simply not use out-of-character elements when spawning a char. Create a new char, not linked / named after anything outside the game, but just with a similar personality ...

Alright thanks.
I actually designed the XIV and it's 'Justice, Freedom, Forever' In-Game, too if that's what you were referring you. :P

Correction, your character designed it ingame. Now your character is dead and the philosophy has died with him. You may recycle an old idea if you think it's still good but call it by a new name, and don't go saying you're someone's heir or stuff like that, since people don't give a damn about pre-spawn histories.

Not to mention that being an heir to something in-game from a previous character is definitely not allowed. (Though I realize that was not the question here)
