Map image problem

I've just got the auto update for Internet Explorer 7, which I've now installed, but now when I try to save the map image on the location page I get an error message stating:

'Could not complete the operation due to error 800700de'.

Any ideas... apart from 'get a decent browser'.

Sounds like an IE problem, not a Cantr problem - it's just an image. At least one person on the Internet has the same problem: http://groups.google.fr/group/microsoft.public.windowsxp.basics/browse_thread/thread/9dbf1981d5ad169d/7322cac76e43c968#7322cac76e43c968

Uninstalling IE7 will fix the problem. You could reinstall IE7 once a patch is made for this problem.

Or take a screenshot and edit out the borders. You might need to resize it too. Anyway, IE7 is just a scam, they copied the tabs from Firefox and I bet it still sucks. I bet Yahoo! gets paid to advertize IE7 and tell people to download it because it's supposedly safer than the earlier versions. Well Microsoft has always been unsafe and buggy, I doubt they'll ever get around that. We used to use IE for a long time, then switched to Firefox... and after that I've grown so accustomed to it, that I don't know how some people manage without. Oh and you know what, some links in Yahoo messenger will open in IE even though you had Firefox as your default browser. I think that sucks big time.

As Sho says, the problem is IE 7 and as Delgrad says, the solution is un-install it, hey presto no more problems. :D

I'll have to try Firefox though, keep meaning to get around to it.

DRM
You cannot copy an image if you haven't downloaded license for it from m$

Seriously, IE 7 is so stupid. It has -less- options and buttons etc than IE 6. Less! An upgrade is meant to do -more-, not -less-! Firefox, Netscape, and IE 7 are nothing compared to good old IE 6

To the right of your google toolbar there is an icon named 'page', click on it and you get a dropdown. Included in the dropdown is a save option. You can save anything you like from this icon. Simple.
