One of my characters gets this strange error messages, even after having started new collection projects:

ERROR: An diesem Ort arbeitet bereits die Maximalanzahl an Ressourcensammlern.=

"Error: At this place the maximum number of resource collectors has already been reached."

But I can delete freshly started projects.

Only a certain number of characters can work on gathering projects in a location (it varies by location but is reporetd on the location page) . You'll have to wait until a slot becomes free. You can set up projects and delete them but not work on them
