project finish time

For awhile now I've been noticing that it seems like projects are progressing at slightly different time...I always just figured it was lag or my imagination or something, but now I just had one finish something about halfway through the hour.
So is this a bug or a feature?

Yeah it's been confusing me too. It used to be 33mins past, then briefly 1min past, now it's 12mins past. Maybe they're changing it constantly on purpose to stop those of us who start projects 2mins before they're due to update.

oh.. I thought it was because of daylight savings that got the hours off track..or something like that..

Last year, daylight saving made no difference to project times, but this year it seems that they do. Prrojects finish at the same RL time as they did, (at least in the northern hemisphere, dunno about those Aussies,) So whereas they used to finish at Cantr times practically on the hour, they are now ending at 11 or 12 minutes past the Cantr hour. Boat movements and travelling on land have moved similarly.

The time when projects are processed was moved forward by 20 minutes about 10 days ago, it was nothing to do with daylight saving but was for server load balancing reasons. As has been said before all timed processes such as project processing are subject to being rescheduled. As a rule we don't make any announcement when this happens nor plan to .
It was mentioned on the forums when it happened (as some players noticed the double project procssing in the first hour).
