Can not connect to Cantr

Hello.
I can't connect to Cantr since yesterday, and I'm not sure if I'm the only one.

Flizzle.net is nothing but an interface between a series of websites and the hosting provider.

The sites are:
Cantr II - an online, multiuser roleplaying game;
Cantr II Forum - the forum for discussions related to Cantr II;
JaeWeb - the personal webpages of Jos Elkink;

The webmasters are Jos and Thomas.

Clear the cache on your browser (Ctrl F5) - try this several times especially if you are using Opera which heavily caches pages.

Failing that clear the history (or at least the Cantr references)

Same here, but for me clearing cache and history isn't doing the trick.
Luckily I found the url to the log-in page today, with the login-part after the index.php, because I coulsdn't log in yesterday either.
Tried using Firefox, K-Meleon and IE, in each case I got to see the fizzle.net page.
Cleared cache, cookies and history, still got that page... didn't see anything in my windows hosts file regarding to Cantr... so for the time being, using the log-in page's url is the only way for me to get on.

But this thing might have hit me at an appropriate time, I'm starting on two new IT-related classes next month... so this might give me a bit of practical experience in troubleshooting the weird and mysterious things that plague computers...

Wolf, your problem could be ISP-side. I mean: if your internet service provider has cached the page in his servers, you can't avoid it (unless you call them to ask for a cache cleaning).

I'm using Firefox. When I forced to reload the page (Ctrl+Shift while pushing the reload button) the Cantr homepage came back.

Don't know what did the trick, but right now I got in using the base domain (www.cantr.net).
Haven't done anything on my end...

As for isp-side cache, I doubt that was the case, because it wasn't happening to any other sites I visit on a regular basis.
Gonna have to think hard on what might have caused it, and I've already had a little brainstorm with a friend of mine about what might be causing it, but so far without result.
Ah well, at least I can use the regular address again, and if it happens again I'll at least have ruled out some possibilities.

That could still well be it. For some reason we had problems with the cantr.net domain / webserver stuff yesterday, and your ISP might have cached that info. Now the cache expired and you can use it again. So the ISP cache would be the problem, even though it's only cantr.net, because that's the only of your regular sites that had domain issues on their server ...
