Not a bug, just a question.
When in a boat, does the line from the dot on the location map represent the boat's wake or where the boat is heading?
I keep crashing into the coast because North seems to keep changing its mind as to which direction it is.

The map has not been reoriented. Pick a direction, push go, see which way the line points. I think it is behind the boat like a wake now.

Looks like a little tadpole to me. :P Think of it as it's tail.

Another question regarding boats:

Can you sail across swamps?

No - only on open water

You can walk across lakes that border certain swamps, however. ;)

Not even rowboats or canoes?
:( You mean i have to walk all the way around it?

And also; When a boat docks to you at sea, can you see the event happening like you can when a boat docks to a town, and is there anything you can do to stop it?

Just walk through it. Swamps are no different then any other land type in almost every regard.

Move your boat. If a boat moves, it cancels all docking to it.If the other boat is close enough to move to your location in less then one turn however, the docking is instantaneous and there is nothing you can do.
