Flyspray item 341

Postby genki » Thu Aug 10, 2006 12:38 am

I have been waiting for some action on this item (341 on flyspray) for two real months. The character is at half starvation, having burned through almost all her food stores. What do I need to do to get some help with this?

Generally Bugs should be reported either in the Forum or via email to bugs@cantr.net - These two methods will normally get the fastest response

A followup PM can help but that relies on the PM recipient being available
Normally they should only be used after a Staff member has requested
a PM with any sensitive details. Don't rely on PM's alone.

Flyspray is probably not the best means of reporting bugs . ProgD (and other departments which can provide support) are not notified of any changes in Flyspray (new tasks or additional infomation added) and tasks
are less likely to be noticed or picked up . I am aware that some in-game texts directs people to flyspray but that will be changed.

I can't make head or tail of Flyspray. If it's no use to others either, why not stop suggesting it for bug reporting, using the e-mail contact instead?

Which is more or less what I was suggesting in my post ;)

The issue wasn't solved.

Postby genki » Sun Aug 13, 2006 1:39 pm

I have requested a reopening of this issue in flyspray as well as sent email to bugs@cantr.net requesting its reopening. In the issue reopen request as well as the email I have stated why the solution did not work, and that there are now greater problems with my character, and that there are now errors on multiple pages, including my character summary page. Should I create a new issue for this? I have already requested a reopening which was sent to a "project manager"

Don't bother with Flyspray. General Support forum to report bugs, bugs@cantr.net for anything specific to your character or account.

What is the problem? Much like the "continued on page 4D" links at the bottom of newspaper articles, simply posting a redirect "read Flyspray #xxx" is going to make me pass on it.

Genki, can you please send us the location, where were you trying to dock to?

Remove the flyspry... if it isn't being used propperly then it's of no use at all.

Name of town

Postby genki » Tue Aug 15, 2006 11:05 am

Akypor. The problem began when my character tried to dock her boat to Akypor. Something "happened" which caused her to be thrown into an invalid place. Her boat now appears configured as a land vehicle moving toward "[]", and no progress is being made. I now have div by zero errors not only on several of her pages but my main character page as well.

1. As the Cantr equivalent of an involutary trip to Disneyland?

2. Tripping on them mushrooms?

3. Too stubborn to ask for directions even though clearly has taken a wrong turn in sailing?

4. Towed inland by land pirates?

5. Test pilot for the first land/sea vehicle in Cantr?

6. Desperatly trying to find a shortcut to Findland?
