I could post in this thread daily at the moment...it lags every day, it seemed earlier today, unless that was a separate lag to the one at 9pm BST (ish). Cantr lagged at 1800ish BST today, during which the forum and site went down for maybe 5 mins?

That was a new lag ... The cause was a process running to investigate the lag ........ The main lag should be beginning around now if my suspicions are correct

ironic: to find the cause of the lag, we must endure even more lag

I just used up about twenty minutes by talking once, stopping a project, going into and then out of a building and starting my project again.

Edit: And even more minutes gone just trying to walk in a building and shoot a guy. I give up for the night...

There is a clear indication the Aussies are not affected when they play at night in their time zone, and that the current problem is made up at least partly by two big waves, before and after New Minutes....roughly two hours each way. Now while I'm not suggesting this will solve everything, it may certainly help: switch New Minutes to roughly 10-12 am GMT or thereabouts. Maybe a bit later. Same with eating and any major daily animal processing or other housekeeping. They should not occur during peak times....and keep them as far away as possible from our hyperactive Polish friends!

Tonight was a bit better but still had bad patches. And I'm really worried now because some of my charries' closest partners and friends have fallen quite asleep. Unusual to lose so many especially good players all at once, and the one key factor is they all seemed to play at the affected times. We could be headed for quite a big die-off.

I wouldn't write off the players just yet. Odds are, they're trying (like me) to access their pages and either can't or stop trying. If you're hooked to the game, you'll stick around, even if you can't play for that 4 hours each day.
