Inactive mode

I noticed that there is a mode in which you can go inactive for ninty days. But what does this mean exactly? How does it work? Will my characters just be suspended in time or some such thing? I have no idea, and it does not really explain it.

It doesn't affect your characters at all, it just prevents your account from being deleted due to inactivity. You'll still need to have your characters fed and protected somehow . . .
