What is it exactly you need help with? I'd be glad to help if you ask for something more specific. :) Have you read the FAQ and all the other things?

If you need help with a new character, it's good for them to introduce themselves and try to acquire some food, either by farming or asking for some if the location doesn't have food. Reading the notes on the ground is always a good idea, too.

The best way to start is to ask exactly the question you are asking as a character, not as a player ;) ...
