Now before I get yeled at, I was going to put this on Peanut's thread, but it's been locked.
Anywho, here it goes. I have in my possession a Car. I want to put a new lock on it. But it says I can't. Tell me there is some way for me to put a new lock on my car?

If the lock is unlocked, No. There is no current way to remove existing unlocked locks.
It's been talked to death, search for it and you'll see all the arguments you're just now preparing.
The short answer is that it hasn't been coded yet...
Otherwise, you can build a vehicle lock as normal.

Break the lock [with something specific].
Then build a new lock.
You can't build a new lock if there's already one in place.
