Cots having no function?

Postby Pirog » Sat Jan 01, 2005 6:05 pm

I have now finished my first cot and I see no way to use it.

Is the effect of a cot automatic or has it not been implemented yet?

If the effect is automatic, can you work on projects and still get the benifit? Please don't answer this with the usual answer, because it is ridiculous that the characters shouldn't know this instantly.

Pirog, what makes you think the Cot has an effect at ALL? Clothing doesn't, you just wear it. It's for RP value. How do you know the Cot isn't the same? Just for RP value?

You're just assuming it's be usable. You shouldn't do that :) You might get your own hopes up.

Asking? No. You're assuming. "Is THE EFFECT of a cot automatic or has it not been implemented yet?" - That line right there, shows that you're assuming there is, or will be, an effect of the cot.

I'm not saying there WON'T be, I'm just saying, it's possible that there won't be :P

But there is no effect now then?

damn...I thought it could speed up healing. The decision to remove natural healing from Cantr is by far the worst in the games history...

Support question turns into Ant vs. Pirog argument?

Guys, you know better than that by now...

I, too, thought that cots did something, like speeding up resting rates. Of course, that's only because others have said "no, there's something you can use to rest-- maybe you can think of what that might be."

It's nice to know my character will have spent half a year to build something useless.

Heh. Don't ever ask me questions like that, I'm Communications, not resources!

Though last I heard, all the bed-type-things were planned to reduce tiredness.
