NDS and starvation

Postby *Wiro » Mon Aug 10, 2015 5:17 pm

Currently NDS characters will show that they starved to death when that is the case. I think this is somewhat of an exploit that can be used to mask the real cause of death (even if I didn't intend do). I propose that starved characters will instead (or also) show their combat wound.

After all NDS wasn't intended to change the mechanics of death in any way.

NDS also occurs when a character is (to be) killed by an animal atack.

Really? I didn't know that. So there is still a chance to be rescued after an animal attack?

Heart attack during NDS also hides true cause of death. I'm not trying to cheat but it keeps happening. The agreement with NDS was that upon the final attack, -that- was the cause of death. Anything that happens after should not replace the original cause.

I had no idea about all of those loopholes. It's been quite awhile since NDS was introduce, kind of makes me wonder now how many murders have been covered up.
