playable character amount confuzion

Ok can some one explain this to me? On the cantr main page right before you log in, underneath the video it says you can play up to 15 characters. I tried asking one of the staff in-game about it and got no response. So some one please explain to me how it can say you can play 15 characters but your only allowed to create 2?

It's been awhile but if memory serves... Brand new accounts are a little limited. The first day, you're able to create two, then I think you're allowed to create one more char per day after that until you reach the 15 char limit. I think it's to ease people into playing multiple chars, or prevent spam spawning, or both.

Brand new accounts can only create 2 characters their first day, and then one more character each day up to a maximum of 15. So you'll just need to wait a day before you can spawn your next one.

How can you possibly know who is staff in-game? You contact staff by PM on the forum, the IRC channel, or by email.

Got a couple warnings from Anders in the messege center when you first log into the game, about some OOC refrences I had been making on the radio with music refrences and such. Got that cleared up, but I asked some other things to make sure I understood the rules clearly enough, and noticed the 15 character thing and pmed him or her about it twice with no response. Anyways, I've been playing the game for a couple months now and still cant make any new characters aside from my first two and am now wondering whats going on?

That's interesting, I've had an unexplained lock too except at four characters, and I'm 98% sure no one ever said to me 'we have locked your character creating ability' except for the error message.

I've asked about it with no response too, though it's possible my message went missing. Could there be something glitching somewhere?

I'm pretty sure PD informed you why your character creation was turned off. It's because you don't know the difference between IC and OOC. I think I heard some of those radio messages and they were totally OOC.

Yes, and I apologized for that. I wasn't sure if music counted as it can be and has been used fictionally in many ways through games and such in the past. I just figured ooc meant don't mention known places or people or whatever. The capital rule wasn't very clear on what OOC meant. But no, no one told me why my character creation was shut off and I haven't made any ooc refrences since the radio incident. I dunno about the kitty person.

Obsessedwithcats, you should figure out why it was shut down and wait a bit. Mine was shut down cause I accidently couldn't figure out what counted as OOC. I figured it out and stopped doing OOC stuff and now my character creation is re-opened. Good luck!!

Yeah that part kinda confused me. The Capital rule doesn't mention "don't rp as people younger than 20 cause theres no one that young in the game" Doesn't even remotely mention age restriction rping so I didnt really have any way of knowing that. Nor do I recall any one saying you cant rp being multiple people but I guess that does make sense. Would cause a bit too much chaos on the radio, gunking it up like that. Thanks for letting me know.

You can rp a childish character or a midget, but technically they are still the age that the game says they are. You can't be multiple people at once.
