"Picking lock no. <number> at Basement <samenumber>"
Is this basement thing something really interesting or was it just an extension called "Basement" and named after the lock number for whatever reason? The person is inside a house, and I can't investigate. I don't see anything on the wiki or on the project page relating to this.
Just the fact that the lock and the {building/storage object} are named the same strikes me as odd. Who'd go through the hassle of doing that when you can just tag the key?

Re: New building/storage type
My two cents is that it's an error. I imagine that there used to be a building type calling basement, but not there isn't, therefore causing such an error. I guess the number as the name of the room would be the ID of the building object. I doubt it was named that way on purpose.

Basement is the name of the Room/Extension/Alcove being broken into.
