ToolTips (Alternative Text) for Mozilla Firefox

Postby Piramidon » Mon Sep 06, 2004 5:58 pm

Hi,

I couldn't help noticing *g* that the alternative text doesn't pop up with Mozilla Firefox. Is there a way to fix that? It's probably a piece of work, but if others have the same problem, it might be worth trying...

Until then: right click the picture, choose "Copy image location", paste in a Notepad or even in the address field of your browser and see what the pic name says. Better than nothing :)

I never noticed that before. It might be suggestible to use a different browser, perhaps simply Internet Explorer or whatever your ISP provides if you want to see what it says. Or I guess what Okud says works as well. ;)

If you can't just trial and error then. Oh, and don't press the big X on the character login page. *notes other topic*

Thanx, it does work somehow. I simply thought it'd be a good idea to report that one 8-)

This has been reported before, and it's much more complicated than you think (You know how much HTML needs to be changed? :P) - I myself use Opera, and I have the same problem, but it's very easy to figure out the buttons once you play for awhile.

Well, welcome to Cantr, then. I reccommend using IE for a few days, and get used to the buttons, so much easier :) - But if you can't, you can guess what they are ;)
