Mysterious Things

I don't think this is normal. In Seatown a carrot harvestor project has been completed and 98000 carrots ended up on the ground. Then the numbers went to 72000 and at that time no one had taken any carrots. At times people would take some and at other times it would mysteriously disapear. When I took some yesterday it brought it down to about 6000. No one has taken any since then and it dropped to 4000 and something. All those carrots are almost gone and this project just finished about 3 or 4 days ago (Cantr time). Is this normal?

Second thing....Also in Seatown, 2 people had died and dropped 2 iron shields, 3 or 4 screwdrivers and other things. As I was picking up the things someone else was picking up things as well. He picked up an iron shield and some screwdrivers and so did I. He gave me his iron shield and when I looked in my inventory it only showed me having one and I only had one screwdriver when I picked up 2. Can some one help me with this please.

First one, decomposition probably, how long were they sitting there?

Second one, you guys picked up the same stuff at the same time, it's a modified version of the duplication bug. It makes it where you can both pick it up, but only one person will get it, because the copied item disappears, I thought I sent it into the bugs department, but I geuss I didn't, and you might have double clicked picking up the same item, so it's nothing to worry about.

Edit: Hmmm apparently the duplication bug never existed and Missy and Brandon are wrong, so ignore me .

First one: They were only down for a day when they first disapeared.

Second one: As you can see I picked up the second iron shield first, so it should have ended up in my inventory. I don't even know if he has it or not. And the screwdrivers again, as you can see I picked up the second one first and again I don't know if he got it. All I know is I didn't get them.

In addition. It just happened again. I picked up a hunting bow way before someone else did, but it still allowed him to pick it up and then he gave it to me and I'm sitting there looking very puzzled wondering how in the hell did he pick that up when I already have it. When he gave it to me I still had the one. I'm confused here.

You both probably pressed it and it registered as both of you picking it up, did you notice that 3 iron shields were picked up when there were only two? So one was obviously a copy that both of you picked up. The same probably happened with te screwdrivers, and maybe the bug where you don't see certain events happened.

And number one might have been that somebody reported a large number of carrots, because that number maybe was alittle excessive and you didn't work hard enough for it.

Yeah, but like I said if this was the case then shouldn't he be the one without it since I picked up the second one first? Same with the screwdriver. In the meantime he is checking his inventory because he may not have the items either. He can't remember and we are trying to solve that mystery now.

And the carrots, the first time the number dropped I thought this and was like ok they probably took some to make it fair, but then they kept disappearing. Like a few thousand at a time when no one was picking up anything. I checked my events to make sure.

Once again, you may not have seen it because of that one bug where you don't see certain events happen, *shrug* ask thomas if he did delete any of the carrots and how much if he did.
