Can't build lock in alcove?

Can't build lock in alcove?

Is it possible to build a building lock in a stone alcove? When I try it says "the location has already reached the maximum number of this object" But there's no other lock, I just built the alcove a while ago and am just getting around to putting a lock on it.

And now it's saying that there's a project for the lock, so I have no idea why it gave me that alert... Idk, nevermind I guess, it's working now.
