I got this activity for one of my characters just now (paraphrased except for values):
You see a man in his twenties die.
You ate all of your rice.
You ate 119g of your salted meat.
When I checked his food supply, 119g were gone from the salted meat.
According to the wiki, the daily consumption rate for salted meat is 20 grams. My character isn't faint, so why did he eat so much?
increased food consumption on salted meat?

Snick, from what I've learned from the forums, there is some kind of sickness that makes your character ravenously hungry and eat many times normal consumption rate. I don't know any more details.

But it also says that your character feels faint when this happens.
I verified that it is still 20g in the DB.

It should say you're feeling faint on your character page. However the event is generated randomly.

Just to check - it doesn't say you're faint on the character description page (as opposed to the absence of a "you are feeling faint" message)?Snickiedoo wrote:According to the wiki, the daily consumption rate for salted meat is 20 grams. My character isn't faint, so why did he eat so much?

You're right. He is faint. But it didn't say that when I looked before.
So new question: Why didn't it show me a "You feel a bit faint" message on the events log? I remember when Snick went faint it gave me a message for that.

You get them intermittantly (presumably based on this random generation Seko refers to).SekoETC wrote:However the event is generated randomly.
You don't automatically get one when you first become faint, but you will get them fairly regularly whilst faint.

Oh.
I guess I missed that.

When did this change? I only got one "official" event when Snick fell faint at the time she did, and the only "reminders" of it came through the fact that her consumption of potatoes was still over 200 grams.
Or are those the events I should get regularly whilst faint?
