Found a project for something unmanufacturable

Postby SekoETC » Sun Nov 11, 2007 11:01 am

I think the name of the project was manufacturing a golden earring.

Initiator: is not here anymore (553-5)
Progress: 0.0 percent
Days required: 3
Project type: Manual
Materials: gold (0 grams used of 100 grams needed)
nickel (0 grams used of 10 grams needed)
Objects:
Tools: hammer

I was just wondering, if that project was finished, would it still create the object even though they have been made unmanufacturable? Most likely it wouldn't be a clothing item but if it was something that has a name, it could be shown as a relic. Or maybe it would turn into regular earrings upon completion?

In another place I found PROJECT: Manufacturing a hunting bow, I assume that would turn into a longbow upon completion? You might wanna nuke the projects as they don't have resources added and the requirements are notably cheaper than what those things would cost nowadays.

I thought that anyone could cancel a project with no resources/parts added and 0% work done. I know that I have, without being the initiator or having any GM powers.

You're right, they could be cancelled by anyone. But if I'd rather take advantage of it, would that be considered abusing the system?

If I saw something like that, I sure wouldn't delete it lol. It would be cool to see a project like that.
