Fighting glitch?

Postby ceselb » Sat Sep 22, 2007 11:28 pm

2027-2.34:Me novicely hurts you using a bare fist. You lose 0 percent strength. You awkwardly saved 8 percent using your iron shield.

That char was and is an awkward fighter. How come it says novicely at first?

This should only happen if 'me' is hitting himself. This is to enable suicide, even for awkward chars who couldn't otherwise without the lower limit on skill.

Yes, and also the strength used to calculate damage cannot go lower than a certain amount, so that even if you are wounded (like people tend to be when slowly killing themselves), their strength will still be that of an unwounded (weaker than average but not much weaker) character. I was also confused by this when I noticed.

Great, good idea. Added the info in the wiki.
