docking alone???

Postby Hagan » Wed Jul 19, 2006 8:41 pm

I have a quick question here

I have a galleon and a sloop and presently am circumnavigating an Island that for the most part has been completely desolate. By that I mean I have only seen 3 people alive in like 2 almost 3 years. I am now at the 19th dock able town I have spotted. Here I have found a longboat that is 92% completed and a dead body due to heart attack. I would like to complete the longboat since it is so close. BUT with me being all alone how can I get the Longboat AND my Sloop docked to the Galleon.

Good luck with that. Until Cantr characters can swim, I don't know how you'd get back to get the other boat.

well in RL that would be a way to do it. or I could even dock them together before I left shore..

BUT I completely understand why you cant dock to docked boats now.. that would make things a LOT easier for the bad guys again

The only way you could possibly do it is if you have a dinghy on the sloop already, that you are prepared to leave behind.

The dinghy would be more valuable than the longboat in that case anyway. If you complete the longboat, you'll get the key. Odds are no one on the island has a crowbar, so just come back when you find a companion.
