The final phase of animal (re)placement is commencing, in numerical order of the islands in the database. I`ve endeavored to preserve animal types, along with making sure that all islands have access to all basic animal byproducts. The LD should be translating the new animals shortly. Please direct any concerns over the changes to the Resources Department, using the web form.

Van a hacer unos cambios en la fauna cantreana. Si algo no les parece (por aquello de que algunas especies sean veneradas, se consideren típicas de un sitio, etc) o por las traducciones, quejarse... digo dirigir sus inquietudes al departamento de Recursos usando la forma de contacto dentro del juego

Unfortunately, I don't believe the translator for Spanish is active, so if you want to contribute translations for the new animals yourselves, you can post them here.

I input it correctly into the DB, but the game is changing it for some reason. I'm not a member of the LD, so I have no idea how to fix it. Might be a gender issue.

Edit: Yes, it is a gender issue. It defaults to un when no gender is specified. I take it una is female? Goat should then be wrong as well.

You have to write the un (male) or una (female) in each one.... just as I put them, because the gender part on the bottom is not working or wasn't when I was LD.

We used to do it like this:
animal_bear_o = a bear

Btw, our mountain goats cabras montesas (in the mountains of Terra Nostra) are no longer there and were replaced by gray foxes. Is there a way to get them back to us?

I copy/pasted exactly what you had there, so I have no idea what the problem is. In the DB, it's una.

I'm adding in the gender reference. Please let me know if this fixes it.

Mountain goats are one of the grossly overused animals in the game, so no, they're not coming back. The mountain region is very small compared to the rest of the island. What is the problem caused by the loss of the goats? Presumably the lowering of meat and dung produce? The rest of the island should be swimming in dung and meat now. Trade is not a possibility?

No food problem at all. Mountain goats are referred to in the daily rp of the inhabitants.... just a tradition that will have to end I guess.

Is this in every town or just one town in particular?

Just in Kartsjantankin Mountains north.
