Cars= deadly weapons

Sunni's signiture gave me the idea for this one :D

Right now there is not a huge incentive to own a car, so why not make it more realistic and make cars able to run over people, and deers of course :lol:

The programming side would work like this, when you are in a car, on the attack weapon drop down list, car should appear as a weapon. It could be quite strong, as several tons of hulking metal travelling at eighty miles per hour generally is, and the strength won't be a bad thing as it is so expensive to make one.

What do you think?

You've never drove on a road you used to walk, have you? There's a reason there are trails other than paths in this game, and that's from the people that have the cars and know what they are.

My namesake has a dirtbike and traveled from one town to another in the Krif in five minutes in real life. That was just a single movement tick to travel the entire length of the road between the two towns.

That's way better than walking.

Unfortunately (and a little off topic) My sig is ever so true... 10 minutes after picking Surly up at the airport ...WHAM!!! Killed her dead! :cry: But Damn I love my truck! Little damage and barely felt it... Brush gaurds will be on every truck I own!

Actually quite like this idea... :)

Doubt this would be an incentive to build a car though... just an added advantage once you have one. Which I am all for. :D

i like this idea. It's realistic and fun. Although, if the damage that a punch can give is compared to what a car's damage would be, i'd say it'd be pretty close to 2 times 'till a kill...could this cause problems?

You know, there should also be... like.... A 1% chance of acadentally hitting someone, and a 10% chance of hitting another car.
