Hunting birds

Postby KiNG KiLL » Sat Oct 01, 2005 7:17 pm

Well, if this subject has been spoken of earlier, I'm sure Sho will tell us in any second... but here goes:

You shouldn't be able to hunt birds with your regular weapons like clubs or sabres. Obviously that wouldn't work in real life, right? So I suggest you should only be able to hunt flying things with things that can fly itself... you know, arrows from bows or crossbows... and perhaps spears?

Anyone agree?

Maybe all Cantr birds are stupid / slow, and they don't fly away when you come at them with a big club? As for realism: birds don't come close to you in real life? You must look scary to them or something.

But how does this suggestion help the game? I don't think it would have any impact on the game at all, and it really doesn't do anything for RP. I don't think it's worth implementing.

Well, actually, this would be a step twords....(takes a minut thinking of a technical way to say this).....(Fails misrably) when somone or somthing is out of rang you have to use a rang wepon.

And also, you should make it easyer to use a range wepon to kill an animal than a sword... or a knife.. or your bare fists.

I concur with Sarah. Too much work for no gain in balance, playability or RP, and a minor gain in realism.

I would miss pigeon boxing too much for this to be changed.
