island
There should be an island that has only 1 are but on that one area has every resource.
it would take 10 years to get from that island to land in a rowboat
and character would spawn there 1 out of every 100000 spawns

I got the conch!
Anway, let's seriously avoid musical instruments. In case no one realized how complicated musical instruments are, they are complicated, and the only way to represent them reasonably would be to make Cantr play sounds.
Signals would be very cool, though, preferably visual signals, like fires, or mirrors to signal other ships. Of course, that implies that there's a light source somewhere. Maybe we could use flashlights instead?
Sound is represented as text, and musical instruments couldn't really be the same. They don't really fit in.
