Which one looks more dangerous?
Flails are already in the game, by the way.

Well either way, 'nunchucks' is the westernized name... They're actually called nunchaku. And either way, not weapons.

That flail looks fairly harmless to me, the chain is just the right length that it looks completely useless. Like the chain doesn't seem long enough for someone to be able to swing it circularly or in a swipe to get extra momentum so the chain probably is less effective than if it was just mounted on the handle.

If it's just mounted on the handle, it becomes a mace. Also, if the chain is too long, it can get wrapped around something in battle and render you weaponless.

Re: Suggestions for Weapons and Protection
I think with a lot of practice a flail could be a good weapon. You could swing it before you hit or just swing it right at them. Other than possible momentum, it would have an advantage over a mace because it would reach farther and be less predictable for your opponent, meaning they would be afraid to come near you or unsure how to react. In another game I play, a special flail is used as the only weapon that can work against mind reading creatures, because even the wielder doesn't know where the hit is going to land.
Lots of practice would be needed..

Pillow with rocks inside. Indistinguishable from a normal pillow after it's made (except by mass). Does more damage. It will be hilarious.

You see Doug R. expertly kill a mouflon using a rock pillow.
OnT:
That would mean that "feather pillows" would have to be changed to "pillows".
While we have pillows with rocks inside, we should also have pillows with bones inside.
Or how about this:
Pillow.
Materials required:
100g cloth (silk, cotton, or hemp)
400g of whatever else you want to throw inside
Notepillow.
Materials required:
100g notes
400g crumpled notes
...I'm having far too much fun with this.

I was thinking that a prankster could make one and mix it in with the other pillows in those pillow-fighting towns, then WHAM! one day someone loses their teeth.

Re: Suggestions for Weapons and Protection
How would you be able to tell the difference in the list when choosing your attacking weapon if you happened to have both types in your inventory?
OffT:
You see Doug R. expertly knock out the teeth of pillow-fighting-maniac using a pillow.

Weapons are listed by power, so the one with rocks would be further down the list.

The first one you posted I would actually call a morning star.
But I never said nunchucks or flails were very effective...ordinary flails were originally just farming tools. Two sticks tied together, very similar to nunchucks, and used to thresh grain.

It's probably been said before, but can we have a garrote? It can use the wires from the radios.
I know it'd never be accepted, but it'd be cool if it had 99/1 chance to one-hit-hill (like mehrune's razor).

OOOOH! Garotte, SO SECONDED! Awesome way to kill someone mafia-style.
Also, I've always wondered, how come we don't have guns?

Re: Suggestions for Weapons and Protection
'cause guns are
A) Lame.
B) Super hard to make.
C)Way too easy to kill someone with.
D)The weapons we have now are perfectly satisfactory in power, if a bit lacking in variety and inventivness.
