Think about it more.
You already can make bags, but people dont do it too often, because its not so useful. Everybody can take 15 kilo with him.
So make bags that already exist more useful.
Let say, naked guy can take weapons and shield, and 1-2 kilo other stuffs. When he is dressed up, he have pockets so he could take 5 kilo of other stuff. So if he wish take more, then he make containers to take more items. But there would be great if we could make backpack for 10 kilo, so with it and our pockets we could take 15 kilo, also we could empty containers on ground (moving resources), and take items right to our containers.

And naked newspawn who tries to build a hut in wilderness have to go to forest, chop down 2 kilograms of wood, go back, then go again and again and again and again and again.

Bad idea.

First he have to dress up.
And if he wish to carry some things he should make something to make it easier. Go around with 15 kilos in your hands for few days and look how it is. When you have to carry something you better make something to make it easier.

Or he can go in woods and make Small wooden cart and bring that wood with it.

Still think its a bad idea?

Yes, it would make life in wilderness too hard.

First he have to dress up.

Why do you think so? Clothes are not easy to obtain and are not first on the list of needs. Developing a settlement is hard enough now and there's no reason to make it even harder.

Right now they are not so needed, because its ONLY for RP now. Witch such change, they would be more needed.

You say naked people running on all paths with 15 kilos is good as well dressed people who cant take so much, as items have their weight? Also why need small vehicles as some have less capability then a person can take.

I agree with Greek. It will make life in the primitive areas next to impossible.

So start with some clothes on you. No more naked people and you would have pockets to put items to it.
This will make simple enough in primitive areas?

You're very confident of this.. ;) I think this are a sensitive things and not easy to good balance. One wrong move and this can give our much trouble that gains.

Back on the terms of bags...
How about when a person dies, the bag isn't destroyed. That way if the leader wants to put his bag down, he can grab the other and put it in storage without having a huge mess to clean up and then pick up his bag again. If the bag isn't picked up before it deteriorates, then everything spills onto the ground.

Yeah, you see something wrong with this? We just give people chance to avoid mess, but if they don't doing this in time, all things should just "spills" onto the ground.

We could make bags impossible to pick up. You have to drag them inside (where contents will spill), or loot them.

Then how do you pick up your own bag if you're forced to drop it?

Why would you ever drop your bag? :) It shouldn't be droppable either, until death.

Well if you can't pick up or drop your bag, it's pointless. Might as well not have a bag. I think it should be dropable and pick-upable to make things easier to sort and carry things.

Yes, next reason - when you try force character to search him (for proof that he don't steal nothing more or something).. This can be much easier, that force him to pick up 15kilo of stones ;)
