Making oil from tarpit more effective

Postby €e$y » Fri Nov 13, 2009 3:46 am

I want to suggest making oil from tarpit a little bit more effective that is now - let's say 250 gram per day of work.

In my opinion the difference is too big beetwen:

Oil derrick - 1250 gram/per day
Tarpit ~ 75 gram/per day.

That change is important especially now - when cars will need fuel in near future.

No, it isn't. There are more fuels than just gasoline to burn in an engine.

Tarpits were designed as a means to have access to oil at all, not to have it in convenient amounts. Taking into account the time to chop the timber you can produce 50-60g of oil per day, which is pretty okay considering that timber is ten times less rare than oil.
Pretty in pink.

That kind of change will have one more positive aspect:

Tarpit will be a little bit more useful.
Nowadays it's quite meaningless resource, because you can chop 3 kg per day and it's enough to make all the masts at raker.

Well, maybe 250 gram it's too big for tarpit - I don't know, but I know that with today efficiency nobody will even think about it, especially, if we take into account how many people lives in cantr towns.

Have a look at the difference in costs between the tarpit and the oil derrick, then rephrase the suggestion.

If anything, the oil derrick is not good enough for the capital investment.
